This area comprises the neighborhoods from Tahoe City south to Rubicon. You may recognize names such as Homewood, Talmont, Tahoe Park, and Tahoma as part of this region. As many locals say, the West Shore is the best shore. Known for simple Tahoe Living, this area offers large lakefront estates, quiet neighborhoods, and the well known Homewood ski area.
